Captained by the British explorer, navigator, and cartographer, James Cook, the ship is renowned for her exploration of the far side of the world (at least far side from Maine), but interestingly, Cook spent his first commissions creating some of the earliest and most detailed maps of Newfoundland and the St. Lawrence River, just north of Maine and cut from the same cloth in the nautical and sailing communities.The Endeavor boat shoe is conditioned and enhanced by a natural polish that comes to life in this low cut classic canoe moccasin style construction.
