Some shoes follow trends. The Classic Dan Woman has outlasted them. Sebago's original penny loafer, hand-sewn in smooth corrected grain leather, has been a wardrobe essential since 1946, and it's never looked more right than it does now.

The unlined upper keeps it light and flexible, the leather sock lining adds comfort, and the natural leather sole with a molded rubber heel gives it that classic loafer step.

Runs slightly large. If you're between sizes, size down. The leather feels snug at first and softens to your foot with wear.

I can see the craftmanship is there and the leather is of high quality. However, these hurt. These must be the most painful shoes I’ve ever put on my feet. After 1 week of enduring pain every day for ~5000 steps, I am very close to giving up on these. Not only are they painful, my heels keep slipping out. This seems to be a common issue when I look up online as well. I know they are my size cause my toes and the sides if my feet are snugged, but the heels keep sliding out of the shoes. I have never had such a painful and miserable experience trying to break in any shoes. I had Dr Martens, GHBass, and leather shoes in general before, but these are by far the most painful. I am not sure they will get better, but my feet are too beaten up to try them on again.
