The Portland Waxed is Sebago's signature boat shoe in leather conditioned with a rich blend of oils and waxes. The result is a deep, natural sheen that builds character the more you wear it, on a hand-sewn moccasin built to handle salt, spray and everything in between.

The unlined upper breathes and softens with every wear, molding to your foot over time. A 360° rawhide lace wraps the collar to pull the fit snug, and the non-marking siped rubber sole grips wet decks and city sidewalks alike.

Runs slightly large. If you're between sizes, size down. Boat shoes should feel snug at first. The leather softens and stretches as you wear them, molding to your foot. Wide widths available.

Fit: Runs Big

These shoes are made with a little heavier leather than the equivalent Sperry AO's and the difference is noticeable in their general feel and appearance. I normally wear a size Euro 46 or US 12, but on the advice of the website I ordered a half size down, US 11-1/2. They fit perfectly. It took about a week for the high shine of the wax finish to dull down a bit and develop a more casual look, which I like better.

My brother has been wearing sebago since his younger days.
He got one of his leg amputated but he still wears them actually his in Fiji and I sent the other one . This one is going with me next week. Merry Christmas 🤶 cheers
