If you’re new to Sebago, we recommend ordering half a size down from your usual size for the best fit.  For example, if you typically wear a size 9, we suggest trying a size 8.5.  If you prefer a more relaxed fit, you may choose to stay with your regular size.

The leather may feel firm at first—wear them with socks during the break-in period. With time, the leather will soften and mold to your foot, creating a comfortable and personalized fit.

They feature a breathable unlined upper, cozy leather sock lining, and comfortably waterproof, flexible and durable natural leather soles with a sturdy, molded rubber heel. If you are new to Sebago, your Sebago size is typically one half-size down from your normal shoe size and it should ensure that your new Sebagos fit snug to your feet. I've been wearing nothing but Sebogo for my casual wear for the past 40 years. I started with the Sloop and then added Schooner, both two-eye and Penny Loafer, always in waxy brown. Both are equally comfortable. The Classic Dan did not have that name when I bought it, which was months before Sebago sold to the outfit in Italy. MY Classic Dan Penny-loafer is the worse fitting shoe that I have ever worn. It's mainly because of the inside seams which are abrasive to my feet even though I always wear a slightly cushioned sock. I just checked the inside of these (I still have in the box with shoe trees) with my hand and don't feel any excessive seams but on my feet is a different matter. That one-time wear was from parking my car and walking to the restaurant. I wasn't sure I would make it was actually concerned about the return trip to my vehicle post-dining. They're size 12M and are brand new except for 100 yards of sidewalk walking. I've given it 3 stars instead of 1 star because I know you can't erase the negative comments.

Finding the correct size has been a challenge. I normally order a size 8 standard width. Based on the guidance on the Sebago website, I sized down to 7.5, but ordered a wide. The length seemed fine, but shoe fell off my feet even with socks. So I returned them and exchanged for 7.5 standard width and it was hard to get the shoe on my foot. Now I will return these in exchange for size 8 standard width. Hopefully this will work, because I really do like the shoes.

I have had a really tough time with Sebago recently... growing up with them as a kid until my last pair they were always true to size (width wise). I can no longer wear the wide, my heal constantly slips out and the standard fit cuts off circulation in my foot for being to narrow. I've returned multiple pairs now... wide is VERY wide.

No me sentí bien para nada solo lo utilicé 2 horas y en la parte del frente se agrietó la piel envíe los menensajes con imágenes y me si medicating que eso tan feo es normal y me enviaron un enlace de una compañía extra para que me suscriba y pague para restaurar la verdad no lo recomiendo y me sienyo triste por el zapato y el trato

Forgot how much I enjoy wearing a classic loafer. Though not yet fully broken, they are quite comfortable. Normally wear a 13 wide, and the 12.5 fits great. Looking forward to many years of stylish comfort.
